DuraTech All-Fuel Galvanized Firestop Radiation Shield - For Chimney Pipes with a 6-Inch Inner Diameter
Some DuraTech chimney installations won't work with a standard ceiling support box. On those occasions you must use a Galvanized Firestop Radiation Shield. Constructed of durable galvanized steel, this shield provides the support required to create a safe and stable chimney system.
DuraTech chimney pipe is designed for appliances that are tested and listed for use with a 2100° F HT chimney system, such as wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas. Tested to UL test procedures 103 HT and listed under UL re-examination service number MH 7399.
